What is Taekwon-Do?

Taekwon-Do is, arguably, the most dynamic and academic martial art in the world, with a genuine ranking system, code of ethics, conduct, cultural discipline and promotion of health, well-being and personal safety, it is also the most popular of all martial arts.

How do I book my ViRTUAL TAEKWON-DO session?

Just email ViRTUAL with suggested dates/times that are suitable for you (remember to check the time zone difference). Once a suitable time has been agrees, you will be emailed an invoice for the session. Your session will not be confirmed until payment has been received. Remember it is YOUR responsibility to contact Master Rhee at the correct time AEST.

What if I don’t have a Skype account?

It is free to set up a Skype account and free to call. All you need is a good, fast connection to the internet so your session does not time out. Remember, using cable internet rather than wireless is much faster and more reliable.

Can I use FaceTime?

Yes you can also use FaceTime. Simply call using Master Rhee’s email address, masterandrewrhee@itfa.com.au  or +61 450 459 927. Again, please make sure you have a good, fast connection to the internet to ensure a quality video call.

What do I wear?

You must wear your Taekwon-Do dobok and observe proper Taekwon-Do etiquette for the session as it is a Taekwon-Do class. If you do not know the etiquette, don’t worry! Just let Master Rhee know and he will guide you through it.

What if I don’t speak English or Korean?

If you don’t speak either english or korean, you will need to provide your own interpreter for the session. This is the student’s responsibility. If you try to complete a teaching session with limited english, ViTUAL TAEkWON-DO cannot guarantee the quality of the session in terms of communication.

I’m trying to connect and it’s not working?

Please check that your Skype/Facetime is set up correctly and that you have a fast internet connection. Please contact your internet provider if you have ongoing issues.

If Master Rhee is not answering, please double check you have your time correct. If you are correct, please email masterandrewrhee@itfa.com.au with exactly what happened so it can be addressed.

What is your refund policy?

If you change your mind about the time of your session after you have booked and paid for it, you must email Master Rhee immediately to change your allotted time. Once a session/deal is paid for however, it is non-refundable.

Can I book in a group session?

Once you have secured a booking time, it is up to you if you want to share that time with other students. More students means less individual time for you. However, booking a session for two or three students may be a more cost-effective way for you to use your time. Please add the names of the students in the notes at the time of the booking.

What is the ITFA?

The ITFA stands for the International Taekwon-Do FGMR Associates, an ITF-style Taekwon-Do group founded by Master Andrew K H Rhee in July 2010. The ITFA is based in Sydney Australia and offers Student, Associate and Instructor Membership. If you do not train under an ITFA Instructor, you are eligible to apply for Associate Membership which entitles you to book for ViRTUAL TAEKWON-DO session at the ITFA student rate.

How do I become an ITFA Member?

Email your expression of interest to info@itfa.com.au, along with your Taekwon-Do CV and copies of your Grading certificates. The ITFA will contact you directly to discuss your application.

How can I access Master Rhee’s teaching face to face?

Master Rhee teaches regularly in Sydney including his own class, Master Classes and International Instructor Courses. If you are unable to travel, Master Rhee can come to you. Master Rhee has taught in Canada, UK, Malaysia and New Zealand since he moved to Australia and is happy to travel to you!
